Multiple passengers and crew sustained injuries after a Delta Airlines flight from LA to Sydney, Australia was hit by rough air Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "experienced a brief period of turbulence" as it made its approach and landed at the Sydney airport, a representative for the carrier informed. Four flight attendants were injured.
Local paramedics stated they assessed a total of five people, and took three of them to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that included back pain and headaches. Those affected ranged from their thirties and seventies.
